‘KEEP IT SAFE’ kicks off for 2012

The annual Stihl KEEP IT SAFE programme held its first presentations for 2012 recently at the NZ Forest Managers Office.

The Stihl KEEP IT SAFE progamme aims to recognize superior skills, task-related knowledge and strong commitment to health and safety by employees working in local harvesting crews. The programme is coordinated by the harvesting contractors of NZ Forest Managers Ltd and is now in its third year. It has been a very well received and successful porgramme and 2012 looks to be shaping up just as well.

The prize winners for the January - March 2012 quarter were presented with certificates and prizes by Don McMurray, the Logging and Distribution Manager at NZFM.  Winners were:
