2014 NZFM Workforce Survey
The 2014 Workforce Survey was undertaken to allow NZ Forest Managers Ltd to continue to understand the social make up, skills and experience of the workforce employed within Lake Taupo and Rotoaira Forests. As part of its requirements under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification for Lake Taupo and Rotoaira Forests, NZ Forest Managers Ltd are required to plan for and monitor social impacts. Social impact figures prominently in the formulation of the FSC Principles and Criteria. The intent of the survey is to capture a snapshot of the workforce and understand the demographics of the 2014 workforce and compare these to previous years data. In 2014 employees of Te Wera Forest were included, although Te Wera is not FSC recognised, NZFM considered it beneficial to obtain the data from these employees also.
All participants of the survey enter a draw to win one of three grocery vouchers from New World and the winners have been presented with their prize. Winners were from Flights, RADS and GJ Soles Ltd.
Thank you to all contractors and employees that completed the surveys and returned them promptly as requested.
