Request for Proposal: Winch-Assisted Ground-Based Harvesting, Turangi

NZFM invite registrations of interest for a Winch-Assisted Ground-Based (WAGB) harvesting programme within NZFM-managed forests, predominantly in Lake Taupō Forest near Tūrangi.

The work comprises a three-year harvesting programme, primarily in second-rotation pruned radiata pine stands previously harvested using conventional tractor-based systems. We are seeking an experienced contractor who can deliver excellent health, safety and environmental performance while maximising mechanisation, operational efficiency, and value for our forest owners.

Please email your details to Matt Owen matt@nzfm.co.nz to register your interest.

Registrations of interest close 04/09/2026.
