Pikowai and Rendall Forests seeking certification in 2026

NZ Forest Managers is currently working towards incorporating Pikowai Forest and Rendall Forest into our Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®)(FSC-C007793) Forest Management certificate. These forests are located on Pikowai and Rendall Roads respectively, to the East and North East of Lake Rotomā in the Whakatane District.

Third Party certification provides assurance that the forest is managed according to a set of environmental, social and economic standards. The forest will be independently inspected and evaluated according to these standards and how they are applied to forest management.
