Taheke Paengaroa Forest seeking certification

NZ Forest Managers is currently working towards incorporating Taheke Paengaroa Forest into our Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®)(FSC-C007793) Forest Management certificate. Taheke Paengaroa Forest is located approximately 30 km north of Rotorua, on State Highway 33 and is in the Bay of Plenty region.

Third Party certification provides assurance that the forest is managed according to a set of environmental, social and economic standards. The forest will be independently inspected and evaluated according to these standards and how they are applied to forest management.
