Lake Rotoaira Forest - Road Closure

The heavy rain experienced this week has resulted in considerable damage to some of the roading infrastructure in Lake Rotoaira Forest.

Repairs are underway, however to keep everyone safe there is no access past the ‘Rusty Gate’ on Ruamata Road. This is a temporary measure while the repair works are completed.

The repair works are anticipated to take approximately 2-3 weeks. In the meantime, we appreciate your cooperation with following the road closed signage onsite.
